According to a survey of randomly selected Fresno State students, STRESS is the number one
academic impact.
But did you know that laughter actually helps to REDUCE stress? When you laugh, nearly every
system of the body is being stimulated. In fact, you might say that laughing is a stationary form of
exercise. Research shows that laughter:
Reduces stress hormones including epinephrine, cortisol and dopamine,

How much fruit should I eat each
day?
For healthy adults, the USDA My Plate
guidelines suggest including 1 ½ to 2
cups of fruit per day. Healthy choices
include fresh, frozen, or canned fruits
packed in water or juice. Dried fruits and
100% fruit juices are more concentrated
in calories and should be consumed in
moderation. Beware of imposter foods
such as fruit flavored candies or drinks
that supply little or no nutrition.
