Award Tenable AAUW has three different graduate fellowship programs: American Fellowship, International Fellowship, and Selected Professions Fellowship (SPF). All three are tenable at U.S. institutions. Number & Amount “More than 241 fellowships and grants to outstanding women and nonprofits” in 2015-16. Distribution among the individual fellowships is not known. Amounts: American International Selected Professions Duration $6,000 - $30,000 $18,000 - $30,000 $5,000 - $18,000 One year of funding. Architecture, Computer/Information Science, Engineering, or Mathematics/Statistics. MBA. Law and Medicine are also options for women of color. US citizen or permanent resident. When American International Selected Professions Dissertation or Postdoctoral. Also a short-term research option. Masters, Doctoral or Postdoctoral Master or Professional Selection Criteria Each program varies slightly in focus but this statement from AAUW captures the general profile: “Their intellect, dedication, imagination, and effort promise to forge new paths in scholarship, improve the quality of life for all, and tackle the educational and social barriers facing women worldwide.” Campus Deadline None.
