Stud Walls:
Horizontal solid 2x blocking shall be installed in all walls and partitions where studs are greater than 8' in height. Stud walls supporting beams shall have
posts under bearing unless otherwise noted.
Double Plates:
Double plates shall lap a minimum of four feet at splices and be nailed with no less than 10 - 16d nails each side of spice except as otherwise noted or
shown. All cuts in plates shall occur over a bearing.
Cutting:
Cutting & drilling of joists and beams for pipes shall not be permitted without the approval of the Engineer.
Framing Anchors:

Special Inspections:
The following special inspections, as required by Section 1704A of the California Building Code, 2010 Edition, shall be provided during construction on
