Most philosophy students are eligible for federal financial aid, and many scholarships are readily available. Some opportunities include, but are not limited to: Enroll in coursework abroad that transfers back to your major or minor requirements. Programs often have their own criteria, such as a higher GPA or a language requirement, so you should read each program’s terms carefully. Proficiency in another language is often unnecessary, so you could study in English, even in non-English speaking places. Internships abroad often are voluntary rather than paid, but financial aid and scholarships may help defray costs if you earn credit. Give back to the world! Goss Discovery Scholarship K-State Global Education Initiative Scholarships Scholarships are available each year in varying amounts from $200 to $1,000 for faculty-led, summer, semester, or academic year programs. Scholarship recipients must assist with the Study Abroad Fair and complete one service project for the Office of International Programs.
