ICT Governance
• What are the environmental and sustainability principles that will guide
the design of governance and decision-making of IT?
• What environmental and sustainability aspects constitute value and risk
for stakeholders and for the enterprise/city? Are both current and future
generation requirements considered? What is the extent of these aspects
on IT-related issues?
• Are environmental and sustainability-related IT issues integrated in formal
enterprise/city communications? Are stakeholders’ information
requirements met?
ICT Management
• ICT compliance and support for business compliance with external
laws and regulations and with internal policies and security of
processing infrastructure
• Managed ICT-related business risk and delivery of ICT services inline with business environmental and sustainability requirements
• IT agility to respond in a timely and efficient manner to a changing
business environment
• Competent and motivated personnel
• Knowledge, expertise and initiatives for business innovation
Conclusion
Climate change adaptation and Sustainability is a
stakeholders needs and business/city requirements
but more than anything
is a human responsibility
A well governed and managed ICT can ensures stakeholders
identification, needs evaluation, business and ICT alignment,
and ICT process with capacity of delivering outcomes even if
the conditions are not the best.
