Everything You Need
Our outdoor shelters can accommodate anywhere from 75 to several thousand people with the ability to make special announcements
and play music over our new PA system. Our indoor meeting facilities can accommodate anywhere from 25 to over 350 people and
can be fully customized to meet your specific needs with WI-FI internet, Screens/Projectors, HD TVs and more!
Africa
Our Africa exhibit is our most ambitious exhibit to date. Experience the wonder of the African Savannah as we bring you closer to the
animals than ever before. Walk past lions and cheetahs for cocktails, or survey the landscape from our two-tiered restaurant deck.

Animal Appearances & Private Shows
Our vision is inspiring passion for nature and saving wildlife for future generations. Animal
Appearances are our effort to engage and inspire each group at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical
Garden. We bring animals to your onsite event for an up-close and personal experience. We’re
confident your guests will enjoy seeing and hearing about these fun and interesting animals!
PREFERRED TIMES:
•Daytime 8-5 pm meetings: During morning or afternoon break, lunch hour or upon departure.
•Picnic Events: 11:45 am–12:15 pm or 2:45–3:15 pm
•Evening Events: Greeting upon arrival is usually best. Last appearance 7:30 pm
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
•Request standard animal at least 2 weeks prior to visit; 4 weeks for premium animal or show.
•Availability is based on several factors:
-Necessary keepers/handlers, weather, illness of animal, and setup of room.
-Keeper/handler has final decision based on their discretion on which animal they bring.
-Specific requests may be made but are not guaranteed
•Note any phobias for any particular animals to your Zoo Sales Manager or Event Planner.
•Allow 72 hours for any time adjustments prior to event date.
•Complimentary animal appearance requires an event spending minimum of $1,000.00

AFRICA OVERLOOK
The Cincinnati Zoo’s newest exhibit transports visitors to the grassy plains of Africa.
Life on the African plains revolves around water. This new exhibit boasts
cascading waterfalls, flowing streams and a communal watering h
ole with
a footpath that winds over a wooden bridge among naturalistic rock formations and exhibit space. This unique space is the essential Zoo venue.
