You may find it helpful to consider the following reflective questions from your own school or centre’s
perspective as you view the strategic plans published within the Building your Curriculum area of the
LTS Online Service.

What ideas or developments could be considered for your context that would help you move
towards a more coherent curriculum 3-18?

Are there elements that would help you take better account of the totality of the curriculum
and balance across the four contexts for learning?

How might they support your thinking around providing opportunities for numeracy, literacy
and health and wellbeing across learning?

Are there elements which would help you take advantage of the opportunities which
Curriculum for Excellence can offer to enable learners to gain as much as possible from the
curriculum?

What structural changes are being considered and would they promote greater curriculum
flexibility in your setting?
