Robert J. Holley began his career with the FBI in 1995 as a Special Agent assigned to the Chicago Field Division. Mr. Holley has an extensive background in Counterterrorism. He has completed three tours at the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division in Washington, D.C. where he has served as a Unit Chief, Section Chief, and Deputy Assistant Director in the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division Mr. Holley has deployed to Yemen, Iraq, Pakistan, India, Tanzania, and Israel in support of counterterrorism investigations. Additionally, Mr. Holley was deployed to the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing. Mr. Holley has served as the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Chicago and Indianapolis Field Divisions. Mr. Holley has served on the Chicago SWAT Team and was also a Special Agent Bomb Technician. Prior to entering the FBI, Mr. Holley was an Infantry Officer in the United States Army. Mr. Holley is a native of Indiana. He is a 1977 graduate of Peru High School, Peru, Indiana, and a 1981 graduate of Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. Bob has been married to his wife, Toni, for 32 years and they have one son, Dakota, who is a senior at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Mr. Holley retired from the FBI on August 31, 2015, and is now the Director of Investigations for Discover Financial Services.
