English 3P: My American Dream Project Introduction: Our ancestors came to this country to find freedom and realize their American dreams. Since the exploration and colonization of the US, the idea of the American Dream has changed. Every individual may have a different interpretation of the American dream and how to attain it. Essential Question: What is your vision of the American Dream and how to accomplish it? Assignment: 1. Present a visual of your conception of the American dream and the steps to its achievement. 2. This project must include some sort of visual and words and phrases to help support and clarify your visuals. 3. Visual must be one-sided. These will be displayed on the walls during back-to-school night, so take pride in your work and make it aesthetically pleasing. 4. On a separate piece of paper, write a paragraph (8-10 good sentences) explaining what the American Dream means to you and how you plan to achieve your dream. Attach your paragraph to the back side of your visual. Be ready to present and explain your project to the class.
