Objectives:
- Students will develop communication skills (listening, reading, speaking, viewing, writing) and
address topics that increase in complexity from stage to stage.
- Students will acquire the capability to carry out the above tasks in a variety of situations and
settings appropriate with real world encounters.
- Students build their knowledge of ideas, attitudes and values that shape the Vietnamese culture.
- Students make connection with languages and cultures they know, as well as other content
areas of the curriculum.
- Students will learn Vietnamese for personal enjoyment and enrichment.

Expectations:
- Be respectful to all others and all property.
- Speak Vietnamese in class!
Classroom Rules
- Bring required materials to class everyday: textbooks and composition books.
- No personal grooming or gum.
- Cell phones and other electronic devices must remain OFF and put away during class time.
- No late work accepted. Make up work allowed for excused absences only.
- Refer to your Student Planner for school discipline guidelines.
- Class detention is from from 7:30 – 7:55 am in my room.
- Your parent will be contacted on any offense and/or a HW not turned in.
