Summer Summer Session Session Study Abroad: Costa Rica Travel Dates May 28th - June 11th Peace and Conflict Resolution This summer course combines pre-trip course-work with an unforgettable study abroad experience in Costa Rica. Students will be based in the capital city of San José. There, they will learn about Costa Rican culture and study the practice of peace in Costa Rica. Students will attend lectures on the history and economy of Costa Rica, and will visit cultural sites and explore local customs. University instructors will give lectures on subjects such as the history and economy of Costa Rica. Students will also visit associated governmental, non-profit and educational institutions. In addition, students may participate in cultural activities and nature tours and visit a sustainable coffee plantation, a cloud forest, indigenous communities, and museums. by Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Panama as well as the monkeys, sloths, and tropical birds, and study the Transportation Program Fee Includes the following: • • • • • • • • Meals Breakfast and dinners with host families are included.
