Housing Options
Residence Hall Complex
Co-ed by floor, double and single non-smoking
rooms are equipped with air conditioning, basic
cable, and internet access. The residence hall
complex provides opportunities for approximately
600 students to live on campus.
Apartments
Twelve non-smoking, comfortably furnished
apartments accommodate four students of the
same gender. The apartments are equipped with
air-conditioning, basic cable, internet access,
a furnished living room, dinette area, kitchen
facility, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Preference is given to upper class students and is
based on academic requirements.
Safety & Security
Surveillance cameras monitor interior public
areas and the external parking lots. A security
access card is required to gain entrance to the
lobby and residence hall wings and security
officers help to monitor the residence hall
complex and apartments.
Rent
The cost to live on campus varies based on
living in the apartments versus the residence
halls as well as living in single versus double
occupancy rooms.
Meal Plans
A meal plan is required for all students living
in the Residence Hall and first semester
residents living in the apartments. Residents
may choose from various meal plan options.

Amenities
Dining Hall
A full-scale dining hall facility is provided for
resident students to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner
and late night snacks. All students living in the
residence halls and first semester residents living
in the apartments are required to purchase a meal
plan option. Meal plans are used in the residence
hall dining facility for all-you-can-eat meals.

Laundry
Live and Learn:
Laundry rooms are located in the residence
hall complex and are available for use by the
residence hall and apartment students.
Northampton Community College offers
a residential program that complements
the academic experience and enhances
student development.
Lounges
Lounges provide additional space for studying
and socializing.
Mailboxes
Each student in the residence halls and
apartments has a personal campus mailbox
located in the residence hall complex.

Deadlines
You must apply for admission to NCC before
submitting your housing application. Residence hall
applicants are recommended to apply for housing
and financial aid by February 28, 2015. Housing
applications will be accepted after this date.

Housing will be offered to qualified applicants
starting the second week in April and will be
based on space availability. New students may be
accepted into on-campus housing until October
23, 2015 for the fall semester, and March 18,
2016 for the spring semester.

$100 security deposit due March 1, 2015. If an
application is submitted after March 1, 2015
the security deposit will be due at the time of

Housing Contracts
Students who are offered a housing contract
and break their contract will receive a full
security deposit refund until June 1, 2015.
Students who break their housing contract
between June 1 and July 1, 2015 will receive
a 50% security deposit refund. No refunds
will be processed after July 1, 2015.
