Web Developer, Department of Residence
A Department of Residence web developer with support for their various departmental
websites. We want to strive to create the best user experience possible. We support our team
members and ensure their training will help fulfill the mission of the Students Affairs Division, “We
help students succeed.”
Job Description
Supports development of Department of Residence websites. Creates and manages web
content, working with DOR IT and Marketing staff.

Required Qualifications

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Current on-campus resident at UNI (residence halls, ROTH, Panther Village or Hillside-Jennings
Apartments)
Fluent in English with strong social and writing skills
Experience with HTML and CSS
Ability to work independently and as a team member
A desire to learn new technology and concepts
Preferred Qualifications

Computer programming experience (PHP, JavaScript)
Experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Familiarity with graphic editing software (Adobe software, GIMP, or similar applications)
Web applications (Drupal, WordPress)
On-campus resident for the coming school year (residence halls, ROTH, Panther
Village, and Hillside- Jennings Apartments)
