Call to Order
o At 10:06pm VP of Advocacy and Community Coordination Kate Modic
called the 17th General Assembly meeting of 2011-2012 to order

o Motion to amend last meeting’s minutes
 Assassins game lasts one week, not one day.

Fund Request: Delt Dodgeball

 This is a separate committee budget, so we’re spending all
of what was allotted to us.
 Who else are you asking for money?
 Local businesses, parents, etc.

 How much is left in the Grant Request Fund?
 $1625
 Motion to grant DTD $250
 Seconded, objection
o Pro: They said they don’t need the full $500. They
only need $200 to cover their t-shirts.
o Con: The remaining money would go to charity.
 Vote: 19-8-5
o DTD is granted $250

 We recognize our incorrect procedure in the appointment of the VP
of Finance
 The applicants should’ve gone to the Presidents’ Roundtable
for review.

 The issue should be sent to the Disciplinary Review Council,
made of up GA members, to help review the issue

 Yes. In the interim, Will remains in his
position.

 About two weeks?
o So Will can still work during this process?

 Aside from this matter, there’s been some discontent with the EBoard – GA relationship in general.
 We want to have open communication with all of you!
 We want to hear your concerns as soon as you have them!
o Please don’t hesitate to come to us with feedback
with how things are run.
 You all hold a lot of power in representing all of the
residents, so please come to us!
 Come to our office hours, call us, text us, email us, send us
telegrams!
Open Forum
o Audio Technology department presents “College Fest”
 April 21st in the Amphitheater
 Student bands and whatnot
o Ambassador from Japan speaks about Tsunami
 March 24th, 2-3pm
o Barbeque with WASA
 At the end of the year


 Had two breakfast for dinner events
 Held a de-stressor event last night
 Made a thank you poster for Aramark
 Sign the poster after the meeting
 Working with LeCloper with coordinating events
