Peter is Head of Coastal Strategy at the District Council. Since 2006 he has led the
coastal team in the development of a sustainable coastal management plan. The
successful Coastal Change Pathfinder bid was a natural consequence of the work that
had gone before. Since the award was made he has led the team in the delivery of the
Council’s Pathfinder Programme.

I have been intimately involved with the design, management and delivery of a number
of the Pathfinder coastal projects requiring an engineering input and/or perspective.
I have played a supporting role interfacing as necessary with the community at large
from a much wider consultative standpoint.

Having been involved with the development of a new approach to coastal management
in NNDC for the past four years, working with coastal communities, it has been great to
have the chance to put these ideas into action through the Pathfinder. My role has been
developing and managing various projects.

In the role of Programme Manager I oversee all the north Norfolk Pathfinder projects.
This involves aiding project planning, budgeting, issues and risk identification,
management, publicity, arrangement of public events meetings, procurement, project
authorisation and generally anything else which is required to enable the projects to be
implemented.

My role within Pathfinder has been to support the team and programme from bid to
completion. I am responsible for organising events, open days and meetings with
communities and publicising the Norfolk Pathfinder by means of design, editing and
distribution of the Pathfinder Newsletter. I also keep the Pathfinder Website up to date
with information and relevant photographs highlighting our progress.

I have been employed by the Council on a temporary contract (for the duration of the
Coastal Pathfinder project) to provide general legal advice and assistance and to have
conduct of the basic transactional work which has arisen. My legal specialism is
property law and conveyancing. Currently, the Council is purchasing a number of
properties at Beach Road, Happisburgh and things are progressing well. Through use
of Coastal Pathfinder funding, the Council has also arranged for me to act for
Trimingham Parish Council in their purchase of land for a new village hall.

I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the Coastal Heritage element of the
Pathfinder Project, which is being delivered by Norfolk County Council’s Historic
Environment Service on behalf of North Norfolk District Council.
I have been working closely with the coastal communities within the Pathfinder area,
and the residents of Happisburgh in particular, to encourage the study and recording of
the area’s rich cultural heritage. I have been instrumental in the formation, training and
equipping of the Happisburgh Heritage Group, and I am currently co-writing The Book of
Happisburgh with local historian Mary Trett.

Ian has worked in public relations for 20 years and was hired as a consultant by the
North Norfolk Business Forum to assist with the delivery of the Pathfinder Business
Advice Project and, specifically, to liaise with clients of this initiative.
Since June 2010, Ian has visited over 180 businesses in the Pathfinder target area,
enrolling those that were interested into the Business Advice Project and subsequently
linking them with advisers to assist with their specific issues. In total, Ian signed up
nearly 100 businesses and continues to work with them through to the completion of
their action plans.

Accountants. He is also a director of the North Norfolk Business Forum who have been
involved in the development and implementation of the Pathfinder Business Advice

As co-ordinator of Coastal Concern Action Group (CCAG) I was involved with the
creation of Pathfinder with Government officials prior to it’s launch in 2009. Since that
launch and as part of the working together ethos we have established here in North
Norfolk I was involved in the construction of NNDC's successful bid. Currently I chair the
Pathfinder Reference Group.

Jose was involved in the development of the business aspects of the Pathfinder bid and
has been the project officer for the Pathfinder business initiatives, including, business
advice project, marketing project and further business support.

Andrew joined the NWES team in July 2003 as a business advisor working in the Breckland
area of Norfolk. Since 2005 he has managed the development of the delivery team across
the region during a period of intense growth for NWES and in his role as Head of Enterprise
Services he is responsible for all of the business coaching, advice and training contracts for
the company. NWES are providing business planning assistance and specific business
advice to businesses taking part in the Pathfinder Business Advice Initiative.
