30th Anniversary Screening of Film Screening Kiss of the Spider Woman Introduction and Q&A with the Producer David Weisman Independent film producer, writer and director The Smith College Film Studies Program and the 22nd Annual Massachusetts Multicultural Film Festival present a special 30th-anniversary screening of Kiss of the Spider Woman, an Oscarwinning independent film, a landmark film in LGBTQ culture and an important text in the mainstreaming of Latin American politics into U.S. cultural consciousness. David Weisman, the film’s producer, will introduce the screening and hold a Q&A afterward.
