Connecting students who have the will—and skills—to make an impact with organizations that need them The Net Impact chapter at UMass Amherst seeks undergraduate students to participate in their Board Fellows program, which matches Net Impact members with local nonprofits – fellows have the opportunity to attend board meetings and undertake a strategic project for the organization in partnership with UMass MBA graduate students. This year’s projects include… • Developing a grassroots marketing plan for All Out Adventures • Identifying and researching funding opportunities for The Literacy Project • Program promotion for Multi-­‐Arts, Inc. • Major event coordination for Youth Action Coalition All Board Fellows also attend meetings of the organization’s board of directors – this is a unique opportunity to observe nonprofit governance first-­‐hand!
