Cloud Based Business Growth Support Processes

The idea of a cloud of services to support the different needs of Cities or Regions is rapidly gathering
pace. IBM has recently signed an agreement with Sunderland City council, and has similar
experiments in the USA and China. This research will look at the configuration and services required
for an “economic” support cloud – the goal of which will be to enable and enhance economic activity
in the cloud regions. This research builds upon the work done within WMG on web enabled support
and benchmarking services.
