After going downstairs , the writer found nothing unusual but the drawing –
room open. As the noise specifically came from above , he went upstairs checking
all bedrooms but he found nothing causing noise. He stood by a window and
gazed into the garden below though he witnessed nobody was in it. It was so cold
night that he backed to bed. As being there, he realized that the noise was
caused by freezing water in the pipes leading to the tank .(80 words)
