Volunteer & Non-Profit Organisation For more information and joining details visit: Welcome to Leamington Peace Festival 2011! “In a town that has no carnival, the Peace Festival is indisputably the biggest event in the town every summer. Its success has been all the more notable given its anti-commercial ethos, and the fact it costs nothing to visit. The best this recession can do for us is take us on a path away from blinkered money and status-driven aspirations and towards more deeply rewarding pursuits; this is what the Peace Festival stands for, and why we need it more than ever.” Leamington Courier ”Someone once said a long time ago: walking into the Pump Room Gardens during the Festival is like walking through a bead curtain into a better world.Long may that continue.” Janet Alty, Festival Chair 1983 - 1988 Thanks for coming to the Leamington Peace Festival, there is a fantastic programme of events planned for the weekend, we hope you enjoy the music, the workshops & the kids zone, have fun browsing the stalls, and be inspired by the campaigning groups that are doing their best to make this world a better place.
