Digital Signature Certificate
 NIC Himachal Pradesh has started
its RA operations from May 2013.
Till date around 6000 requests has
been received.
 Digital Signatures can be issued to

Bodies/ Judiciary and parliamentory
bodies.
 DSCs are used in the various
projects like e-APAR, DBT, PMGSY,
e-Tendering, MGNREGA, e-Filing

Email Services

NIC is providing e-mail services to all
Government Departments. More than 4500
e-mail accounts has been created for
officials in the state.

E-mail accounts can be created name
based or Designation based. We have
certain policies for creation of email
addresses that has to be followed by all the
users of the NICNET Services.
Email Subscription can be used both for
Single User and Bulk User.
E-mail accounts can be accessed using
web, IMAP and PoP3 protocols.
Login credentials are sent to user on his
registered mobile number. Code to change
the password is also sent on user mobile
number.
Same account can be used to send SMS
using SMS portal.




