Transmission and Distribution: AREVA wins electrical Balance of Plant contract for Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Ltd PARIS, February 17, 2010 AREVA’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) division in India has been awarded a prestigious eBOP (electrical Balance of Plant1) contract by L&T Power2 for state utility Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Ltd (MPPGCL). AREVA T&D Press Office This major contract, worth approximately 1200 MINR (€18 million), is for the supply and installation of electrical Balance of Plant solutions for two 600 MW thermal power plants at Malwa in southwest Madhya Pradesh. The Malwa plant is scheduled for commissioning in September 2011.
