2012-­‐2013: guest scientist at the Max Planck institute for the physics of complex systems 2009-­‐2012: postdoctoral fellow at the physics department, University of Toronto 2004-­‐2009: PhD student in the College of Optics and Photonics/CREOL-­‐University of Central Florida , PhD thesis title: “Nonlinear optics in interacting nano-­‐suspension systems”. 2003-­‐2004: Research Assistant at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, working on bio-­‐electromagnetics. 2001-­‐2003: Research Assistant at the Electronics Research Institute (ERI) in Cairo, Egypt.
