Biography
The Jacobsville Community Club of Jacobsville, Michigan was organized in 1950 as a way to help
preserve the memories of Jacobsville's past and to cooperate with town officials in order to serve the
best interests of the community. The club encouraged seasonal activities and community involvement by
hosting events and maintaining a community center.
Collection Scope and Content Summary
Records, 1973-2000, of the Jacobsville Community Club of Jacobsville, Michigan. Includes the
constitution and by-laws of the club, calendars, correspondence, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, a
membership card valid for 1984-1985, financial reports, flyers, and other ephemera.
Arrangement
This collection is arranged into two series: Series I - Club Business, and Series II - Community Events
and Socials.
