Gordon State College Facilities Goals, Outcomes and Evidence of Improvement 2011-2015 http://www.gordonstate.edu/facilities/home Mission Statement As the chief provider of information technology services and support on campus, the Gordon State College Information Technology Department is committed to the enhancement of education through the use of technology to support the College's vision of becoming a leader in the integration of technology with teaching and learning. The Information Technology department implements and maintains hardware and software configurations on campus, the college network infrastructure and security, Internet services and application systems, the Banner student information system, email services, and multimedia technologies. Unit Outcomes Assessment Results Report 2014-2015 Goals 1. Maintain clean facilities. 2. Provide a safe environment for our campus community. 3. Seek, prioritize and allocate capital resources to meet the strategic priorities of Gordon State College. Outcomes 1. Develop a plan to standardize when and how certain cleaning tasks are performed in order to reach the Association of Physical Plant Administrators' (APPA) appearance level 2 for all buildings. 2. Label/inventory chemicals used on campus. 3. Undertake full review and update of GSC master plan. (Note: Current master plan was delivered in December 2007 and was updated in February 2011. Complete the renovation of student center, including a new student auditorium. 5. Update signage on campus to ensure that all buildings are properly marked and that directions are clear and visible.
