Deadline fast approaching for the 2015 Humanitarian Award nominations
The deadline to submit nominations for the 2015 Humanitarian Awards is Friday, April 3, 2015. Because
Prairie View A&M University has been granted early release April 3, please make sure that you make
your submissions by noon.
The PVAMU Humanitarian Award is awarded annually to a PVAMU student and general member of the
greater community, whose lives exemplify a spirit of love and helpfulness to others.
The award honors individuals who are making outstanding contributions to the University, the state of
Texas and the nation. Recipients of the annual award are considered PVAMU’s measure of excellence in
character and service to humanity.
The Humanitarian Award winners will both be announced and presented in full regalia during the Prairie
View A&M University spring commencement exercises May 2015.
