COURSE DESCRIPTION: Examines artificial and natural lighting in interior design. Considers environmental comfort, effects on colors, and information required for selection of lamps and fixtures. STUDENT OUTCOMES: Upon successful completion of this course the student should: 1. Review the factors involved in lighting design including: light sources, their applications, quantities, and color effects. 2. View the use of natural and artificial light in interior design.
