Construction Notification: Campus Gas Outage Upcoming natural gas outages related to ongoing campus construction activities will occur August 3-­‐14, 2015. The following systems/operations will be impacted: • Hot water for showers and faucets • Comfort heating • Laundry equipment • Kitchen equipment • Any ongoing research which utilizes natural gas supplied by the facility Outage details broken down by date and facility are as follows:: • August 3 o Farrell Hall o Waste Water Treatment Plant • August 4 o University Village Phases 1 & 2 • August 5 o Transportation Services o Ag/Business Building • August 12 – August 14 (Entire campus natural gas will be down) o Farrell Hall o Ag/Business o COOP – Carden-­‐Waller Cooperative Extension o CARC – Jessie & Mary Gibbs Jones Agriculture Research o Farm Shop o Animal Industries – E.B. Evans o Army – Burleson-­‐Ware Hall o Navy – D.L. Brewer Naval ROTC o Transportation o Vet Hospital – A.N. Poindexter Veterinary Clinic o MSC o Waste Water o Jones Elementary o University Village – All Phases o University College o New Science – E.E. O’Banion Science o Retail Center o Harrington Science o Hobart Taylor o Austin Greaux o Calf & Hay Barn o Farm: Poultry, Swine, Feel Mill, Greenhouse & Goat During all outages, Central Plant boilers will remain in operation providing steam and domestic hot water to facilities tied to the central utility loop. Dining Services will remain in operation per posted hours. These gas outages are necessary to upgrade current systems to accommodate new facilities being constructed/brought online.
