XUArt ‘Student Artist’ of the Month...Anisha Blackwell “Anisha, a native of New Orleans, Senior Art Major at Xavier University, and UNCF United Negro College Fund Scholarship recipient is dedicated on campus/off campus pursuing a profound career in Art. She has portrayed her Artistic talent at the “Longue Vue House and Gardens Art Gallery” and local Jefferson Parish Public Schools Jubilee exhibits. She has also volunteered in the local Elementary schools teaching the youth how to appreciate their own art abilities. Her appreciation for success and her love of Art continues to allow her to impart learning to the youth. Anisha’s interest include drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, and Graphic Design. Her distinctly passion is portrait, architect, landscape, logos, and fashion. Influenced by the works of Artists such as; Georgia O’Keefe, Carol Scott, Michael Angelo, and Chris Brown. Anisha’s career goals include becoming a Fashion Designer and Business Owner”.
