lanes will be shifting along Davis Drive, one lane in each direction. We’re also
working on the north side of the Keith Bridge and continuing to build retaining
walls. The full list of construction activities is provided on page 3.

The Yonge North Subway Extension will complete a missing link for the
Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area rapid transit network, with a 6.8 km
extension from Finch Avenue to Highway 7.
An amendment to the approved Environmental Assessment is
currently underway for a train storage facility in the Yonge Street and
Bantry Avenue area in Richmond Hill. Through an engineering
conceptual design study in 2012 and ongoing analysis by the TTC, it has
been determined that additional train storage facilities will be needed.
The Yonge North Subway Extension has been included in the next wave
of Metrolinx “Big Move” projects. Funding for its construction are part of
the important transit funding investment strategy discussions.
