The PRC’s annual retreat was a wonderful affair—many thanks to all who had a hand (and more) in organizing the day’s activities, meals, etc. The 2012 agenda and a full set of PPTs are available as PDFs on the PRC website, under Seminars & Events—scroll down to PRC Retreats. If you’d like an individual presentation file, contact Lee (src5@psu.edu). In our zeal to keep to the PRC retreat agenda/schedule, Lisa and Kelly did not have enough time to cover their important reminders—here is that information, again. • Employees Reimbursement System (ERS)—Please continue to submit ERS expenses in a timely manner. Transactions outstanding for 90 days will be considered a personal expense; the outstanding transaction will be deducted from your paycheck. Questions regarding expenses in ERS? Contact Kelly (kym3@psu.edu). • Cost Accounting Justifications (CAJ) are required for research grants seeking to purchase supplies, computer software, and/or computers, and with phone/mail charges and group meals on the grant. Please complete the form and submit to Lisa (lds1@psu.edu). • A former PSU employee must have been a non-PSU employee for a full year before being hired back as a consultant. If hired before that year is up, the person must be paid wagepayroll. Questions? Contact Lisa (lds1@psu.edu). Reminder: the U.S. Public Health Service changed the Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) regulations effective Friday, August 24, 2012. For more information, visit this PSU website.
