We will be meeting in FM 107 on Friday, April 6, due to a special board meeting. 3) Programs Prepared for 4/6/12 KPI Summaries: Instructional Political Science HRC Bio & Environ Sciences Forestry Earth Sciences & Astronomy Math Chemistry Physics Student Services Admissions & Records Advising & Counseling Financial Aid CDC Institutional Research* Library/ASC Admin Services *Office of Instruction, but using Student Services forms 4) Other/Next Meeting Agenda Items: Discussion: The PRC is seeing a large percentage of students (averages of about 69%) without placement data. It is established that about 80% of new matriculating students are tested. Angelina in IR, feels the difference in numbers has to do with transfer students. Our data tracks students new to college; we have been unable, to date, to figure how to track transfers students, but will look into it. A “gray” area has been identified, where we use multiple measures. Discussion whether the PRC as a committee should let all planning committees know that there are some issues with the data: here are the limitations and how can we solve it? Site budgetary needs are not always clear. We need a vehicle to include site budgets discussed in the program review. 5) Adjourn
