Welcome to the third Futuretrack 2006 survey, conducted on behalf of the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU) by a team of researchers from the University of Warwick. In 2007, in the second survey, the questionnaire asked about experiences of being a student (or of having taken an alternative path). In 2009 we invited respondents to fill in the third questionnaire, where students in their final year were asked about their immediate and longer term career plans and others were asked to simply update their details. We would now like this years’ 2005/6 applicants who are final year students in 2010 to tell us about their next steps. The answers you give determine the questions you will be asked, and completing the questionnaire will take 5-20 minutes, depending on how many questions apply to you. All information provided will be treated in confidence and seen only by the members of the research team. It will be reported to the sponsors and more widely but individual respondents, colleges and universities will not be identified. Please click on the arrow below to complete the questionnaire. To return to a previous question, you can use the arrow at the bottom of each page after this one. If you get a message saying the webpage has expired, simply click on the refresh sign at the top of the screen and your answers will not be lost. If you are interrupted and have to save the survey and return to it later, select instead of the arrow, and you will be given options. If you have any questions for the research team, you can email us at: Futuretrack2006@warwick.ac.uk Section 1: Updating the Record Q1 Which of the following applies to you now? j I am registered as a full-time student on the course I started in Autumn 2006 k l m n n j k l m j k l m n n j k l m j k l m n j k l m n I am registered as a full-time student on a different course to the one I started in Autumn 2006 I first entered higher education in Autumn 2007 and I am registered as a full-time student on the course I started then I am registered as a full-time student on a course I started in 2005 I am not currently registered as a full-time HE student I am currently registered as a full-time student, but none of the previous options apply to me Q1a Please specify, including the year you entered full-time higher education.
