To function as the ultimate decision making body of WMCETT and to exercise final authority over all CETT matters. 2. To receive, consider, approve and oversee Business Plans for the development of the CETT. 3. To have responsibility for approving projects, agreeing appropriate milestones, performance indicators and targets. 4. To monitor progress towards agreed targets through receiving regular reports on the CETT’s activities. 5. To advise and support WMCETT in tendering for additional funding. 6. To consider requests for membership of WMCETT from new prospective partners. 7. To consider any matters referred to it by the Quality Committee. 8. To advise and support the Director on all aspects of the operation, procedures and the activities of WMCETT. The Board will meet on at least two occasions a year. It will have a membership as set out in the constitution and may co-opt additional members as it sees fit. Each representative member of the Board will have one vote except that the Chair will have a second casting vote. Resolutions at a meeting of the Board shall be carried by a majority of the members present and entitled to vote.
