Nominees are recognized for their use of innovative strategies such as interactive and cooperative learning, combined with the use of technology to support higher education. The recipient is awarded a trip to the International Conference on College Teaching and Learning where she will be recognized in a special conference ceremony and considered for the Ernest L. Boyer International Award for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology.
