Description
PYA seeks qualified candidates to join our growing team of public accountants as an Audit/Tax Intern
in our Nashville office. The successful candidate will serve as a cohesive team member who consistently
demonstrates high integrity and reliability within a professional environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform procedures as assigned by supervisors, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Follow documentation standards and prepare clear, concise and orderly working papers.
• Exhibit teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members.
• Perform other accounting, auditing and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
• Pursuit of degree in accounting or related field.
• Detail oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Client-oriented work ethic, delivering high quality results.
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
• Person of sound judgment, that can manage risks effectively.
• Experience with Quickbooks, Creative Solutions, and ProSystem fx desired.
