An ad-hoc Task Force committee has been created to begin the timeline planning and review options for working towards ADA Section 508 Compliance. The primary consensus is that faculty should be reassured they do not need to pull their materials. A compliance resource webpage has already been built by Laura Wray, and Armida Bradley in Distance Learning is working closely with her to identify additional resources. Armida has begun setting training sessions for each department to work through the support and assistance that will be provided. 3. DUPLEX PRINTING IN LABS: We are receiving complaints from students printing papers in our labs that faculty want single-sided papers. As part of CU’s Go Green initiative in 2010, all lab printers are set to print duplex. And in support of CU $ave$, this is also applicable. Please share with faculty and adjuncts. 4. Deans need to get non-instructional items for all summer faculty to Mandy by May 20 th. 5. Hold August 10th at 8:30 for the Back-to-School meeting and brunch.
