Math Club Meeting #2 Wednesday, February 17, 2010
For this meeting, we had a pleasure to host two guest speakers who were the panelists
in the discussion on applying to and attending graduate schools. The two speakers were
Ramapo College math professors, Dr. Donovan McFeron, and Dr. James Gillespie.
After enjoying some free pizza, the floor was open for discussion allowing students to
ask questions freely.
The professors shared their experience throughout grad school, discussed the benefits
of small and big programs, provided information on the benefits of advanced degrees,
and gave tips on getting into grad school.
Once the discussion was over we concluded with applause and thanked the professors
for supplying us with such valuable information.
