How to Run SZRCATQ (Prerequisite/Restriction Report)

1. Go to SZRCATQ.

2. Next block twice.

3. Hit tab; cursor will be in Value column. Enter appropriate term (i.e. 200850).

4. Use the down arrow on your keyboard and go to down to line 3, Department.

5. Enter the department prefix. Classes that require departmental permission can only be seen at the section level on SZRPREQ.

6. Next block.

7. Save.

8. Go to Options-Review Output.

9. Double click in the File Name field.

10. Two files should appear. The .lis file will be highlighted-this is the one you want.

If more than two files appear, the report has not finished running. Click cancel at the bottom of the page, wait ten seconds, and try again.

11. Hit OK at the bottom of the page.

12. To print, go to Options-Show Document.

13. A dialog box will come up asking if you want to open the report in a browser. Hit

Yes.

14. Go to File>Page Setup. Change the top and bottom margins to .75.

15. You can then print or save the document.

Note:

This report displays all active courses so that you may review the courses with NO prerequisites or restrictions.

All graduate courses require a restriction “include graduate” students only. This prevents undergraduate students from enrolling in a graduate course without permission.
