Program Mission Statement:
The mission of the undergraduate entrepreneurship program is to teach students to create and
operate a business in a dynamic, complex, and ever changing global environment through a
community of scholarship that provides a forum for examining principles, needs, and issues
relating to small and developing businesses. The program will provide a broad overview of the
role of entrepreneurship in society as well as the skills necessary for a person to be
entrepreneurial either in starting a new venture or in creating new opportunities within an
existing enterprise.
Program Goals/Objectives:
The undergraduate entrepreneurship major prepares students with the skills necessary to evaluate
a new business idea, create a new business to exploit the opportunity, and to grow the business to
a sustainable state.
Student Learning Objectives

relative performance.
Students in ENT 350 will be required to create an
employee handbook which includes company

nature of entrepreneurship, the
contributions of entrepreneurship to
