Skills: My work experience is focused to Latin America Region and to a lesser extent to international level through UNFCCC negotiation process. The work I have done brought me the opportunity to interact, deal and develop communication skills with diverse stakeholders (indigenous communities, local government, ministers, and politicians) in topics associated to the management of natural resources. I have had several roles from mediator to negotiator in conflicts related to this topic. I also have been in charge and been part of research teams in the following areas: Genetically modified organisms, deforestation, mining activity, textile activities, water supply, water pollution, risk management and monitoring environmental impacts of those activities at local level. I have been editor of information to be published in newspapers, journals or in special issues for illiterates (basic manuals / guidelines that kids and adults with a low level of education can read and explain in simple words to adults who are identified as the target groups in some projects). In addition, I was also in charge of project management and fundraising, not only in an annual – work plan basis but also during and after emergencies (for instance, Felix Hurricane, flooding and drought). I am good at working in team, under pressure and following and giving directions and also I am work with little supervision.
