MINOR IN TESOL/TESOL ADD-ON LICENSE
The Minor/Add-on License in TESOL consists of 18 semester hours. The minor may be used as
a basis for recommendation for NC ESL licensure, but NC allows this option only to students
who are receiving initial licensure in Elementary, Middle Grades, or content areas (like English,
Math, Science, or Social Studies Ed).
