THEORECTICAL AND APPLIED SCIENCE
Our outstanding student in CHEMISTRY is JOONG HOON KOH.
Joong is a member of the Biochemistry/Chemistry Club and has served as a chemistry peer
tutor and as a chemistry teaching assistant.
His TAS honors research project was on hydrogen transfer catalysis and participated in the
Ramapo College TAS Research Symposium.
Joong is the recipient of the 2013 John Wiley Publisher’s Award, the 2013 ACS Division of
Inorganic Chemistry Undergraduate Award, and the 2013 ACS Division of Analytical
Chemistry Award.
Joong plans to apply to graduate school to acquire a Ph.D. in chemistry.
