2014 ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT CEREMONY
SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE AND HUMAN SERVICES
The outstanding student in SOCIAL SCIENCE goes to BRITTANY FABER.
Brittany is a member of Theta Phi Alpha Sorority. She interned at CareOne: A Senior
Care Company where she completed 40 volunteer hours working with older adults of
different needs and abilities. This allowed for socialization and helped keep their minds
active with various creative activities. She also interned at ShopRite working with
Dietitian Nicole Hallissey, sitting in on consultations and assisted with healthy food
demonstrations and cooking classes.
Brittany plans to follow the path of her minor, Gerontology, by pursuing full-time
positions in a nursing home.
