2013 ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT CEREMONY
SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE AND HUMAN SERVICES
The 2013 HERBERT WORTREICH AWARD goes to KARIN LA GRECA.
Karin is a member of the Mahwah Environmental Commission, a founding member of
Sustainable Mahwah, founding advisor and secretary for the Mahwah Environmental
Volunteers Organization (MEVO) Board of Directors. Karin has attended numerous
conferences through the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commission as well
as the Citizen Science Conference at SUNY. She participated in the American West
Trip, did a CO-OP at the Meadowlands Environment Center, and interned at The Land
Conservancy.
Karin is currently a graduate student in the Ramapo College Sustainability Graduate
Program (MASS).
