Dean Saiff called the meeting to order at 12:00pm
Rich Russo distributed a document with data on teacher certifications within each major. Rich explained the
upcoming changes in the Teacher Ed program. A discussion followed.
Deans Report
The Dean gave his report including: Budget update, lab credits, and the proposed graduate programs.
REPORTS
Library Renovation Task Force- Yan Xu and Andrea are on the committee. The plan is up on the web, will be
presented at Feb 17 Faculty Assembly.
FAEC- Ken McMurdy- Kens term is up, Daniela Buna was nominated as his replacement. Unit will vote at the
next meeting.
WAC-Amanda Beecher gave the report she will email the conveners to be sure courses match.
Arc-Steve Anderson gave the report. All TAS courses that were submitted have been approved. RN to BSN is
under review. OSS modification is under review.
Sarah Carberry gave an update on the lab credit proposal.
