Index
• An index is a 7‐character code used to enter a transaction into IFIS (Integrated Financial Information System).
Fund
• A fund is a code used in IFIS to identify the source of funding for a transaction.
Organization
• The organization code is a six‐digit code used in IFIS to identify departments or functional units within a department.
Program
• The program code is a six‐digit number used in IFIS to identify the function associated with a transaction
Account
• An account code (or account number) is a six‐digit number used when entering a transaction into IFIS.
Location
• The location code is a six‐digit number used to identify plant assets (e.g., real estate, buildings) for plant accounting transactions.
