Marie‐Claude Laplante, PhD Depression and Post‐Traumatic Stress Disorder Monday, February 9, 2009 11:45AM – 1:40PM Room G101 HPNP Building Dr. Marie‐Claude Laplante is Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, College of Public Health and Health Professions, University of Florida. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Since 2004, Dr. Laplante has engaged in research and coordination of a study funded by the National Institute of Mental Health on the psychophysiology of behavior and human emotion. She also participates in the development of research protocols on high density EEG, functional brain imaging, and psychophysiology among anxiety disordered patients. In addition, Dr. Laplante is a licensed psychologist, who provides clinical supervision of psychology interns and graduate students conducting specialized assessments and providing empirically‐based cognitive‐behavioral treatment for anxiety disorders (e.g., panic disorder, agoraphobia, social phobia, specific phobia, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive‐compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder).
