Sheraton Park Hotel – Green Programs and Initiatives
The Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort cares about our environment, and enforces this with an extensive in-house program of
recycling, pest control through sound abatement instead of poison, non-toxic paints and wood finishes, and the use of bio-degradable cleaning
products & detergents, as well as participation in a kitchen grease/kitchen waste recycling program.

Energy saving fluorescent light bulbs in guest rooms and public areas
Waste recycling through Anaheim Disposal – all trash is processed through the City of Anaheim’s Material Recovery Facility where a
high percentage of recyclables are recovered, with only the balance going to the landfill.

Recycled Content Paper Products
Hotel stationary consists of post-consumer recycled content percentages per EPA
guidelines. Attendees are provided paper products that consist of a minimum of
30% post-consumer recycled content, including printed signage, note pads, paper
handouts and printed signage
Sustainable Meeting Supplies
All unused meeting supplies are collected and utilized for future meetings.
Refillable pens and non-toxic, water-based highlighters & correction fluids can be
made available to planners for additional fees.
White Board/Recycled Content Paper Flip Charts
Flipcharts containing a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled content can be
made available to planners for additional fees.
Potted Plant Displays
All hotel displays consist of silk plants.
Environmentally Friendly Chafing Fuel
Hotel utilizes environmentally friendly chafing fuels that are not fossil fuel based
(which produce carbon monoxide and dioxin emissions, both of which are toxic and
poisonous)
Bottled Water Alternatives
Hotel offers complimentary water stations and/or water pitchers & glasses set on
tables.
Condiments Served in Bulk
Condiments we offer in bulk rather than individual packets include salt, pepper,
ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, butter, milk and cream.
Meeting Space Recycling
We offer recycle bins in meeting rooms, one for paper and one for
plastic/aluminum/glass.
