Currency
As taxas de conversão irrevogáveis para o euro foram adoptadas
no dia 31 de Dezembro de 1998 pelo Conselho da UE, sob
proposta da Comissão das Comunidades Europeias e após
consulta do Banco Central Europeu, tendo entrado em vigor às
0:00 horas do dia 1 de Janeiro de 1999 (hora local). Nos termos
do enquadramento legal aplicável à utilização do euro, a taxa de
conversão irrevogável do euro para cada uma das moedas
participantes será a única taxa a utilizar, quer para a conversão
entre o euro e a unidade de moeda nacional, quer para a
conversão entre as unidades de moeda nacionais. As taxas
irrevogáveis de conversão para o euro não podem ser
arredondadas e não é permitido o cálculo de taxas de conversão
inversas.

Code
Value
The irrevocable conversion rates for the euro were adopted on 31
December 1998 by the EU Council, upon a proposal from the
Commission of the European Communities and after consultation
of the European Central Bank for effect at 0.00 on 1 January 1999
(local time). In compliance with the legal framework for the use of
the euro, the irrevocable conversion rate for the euro for each
participating currency is the only rate to be used for conversion
either way between the euro and the national currency unit and
also for conversions between national currency units. The
irrevocable conversion rates for the euro cannot be rounded and
the computation of inverse conversion rates is not permitted.

(1) A taxa central do euro para a coroa dinamarquesa, 7.46038 unidades de moeda nacional por euro, foi anunciada no dia 31 de Dezembro de 1998, tendo sido estabelecida entre o Banco Central Europeu e o Danmarks
Nationalbank. No dia 27 de Junho de 2004, o Banco Central Europeu acordou com o Eesti Pank e o Lietuvos Bankas, as taxas centrais para a coroa estónia e a lita lituana com os valores, respectivamente, de 15.6466 e
3.4528 unidades de moeda nacional por euro, com efeitos a partir de 28 de Junho de 2004. Em 29 de Abril de 2005, o Banco Central Europeu acordou com o Latvijas Banka a taxa central para o lats letão com o valor de
0.702804 unidades de moeda nacional por euro, com efeitos a partir de 2 de Maio de 2005. Em 28 de Maio de 2008 o Banco Central Europeu e o Národná banka Slovenska definiram a nova taxa central para a coroa
eslovaca, com o valor de 30.1260 unidades desta moeda para 1 euro./ The euro central rate for the danish krone, 7.46038 units of national currency per euro, was announced on 31 December 1998, having been established

European Central Bank and the Národná banka Slovenska have established the new euro central note for the slovak koruna 30.1260 units of national currency per euro, with effect from 29th May 2008.
